SIMULTUS for industry

SIMULTUS - A tool for creating a digital twin.

Simultus is a tool for creating a virtual device model since the early stages of planning. The option of quickly inserting models of linear modules, actuators or grippers, allows you to visualize several solution concepts, set them in motion, and choose the most optimal one. Ready 3D models are available on manufacturers' websites, via generators, or can be created using many CAD programs (also free ones like FreeCAD). We have gathered several sources of 3D models in the [3D CAD drawings] section. Already at this stage, the concept can be presented to the client in order to eliminate any ambiguities. In next steps of the design process, these elements can be successively replaced by models of target components created by designers.

(watch video):

Eliminate errors from the earliest stage of the conceptual design.
The more errors are detected at the design stage, the fewer corrections are waiting for us at the final implementation stage.

Minimize the costs of testing various solutions.
Our software helps to reduce cost, thanks to the possibility of performing test simulations before the device goes to production. With Simultus you can take full advantage of the simulation technology in a variety of configurations:

- hardware-in-the-loop simulation,
- rapid prototyping
- virtual prototyping

This approach allows to shorten the implementation time at the customer's site by installing a device previously tested in simulations.

Parallel work of various project teams.
Automation engineers can build and test control algorithms before designers complete the project.

Increase the work comfort for engineers and programmers.
Tests performed on the virtual model, not at the production hall, mean less stress, less time pressure, and minimizing the uncertainty related to the correct operation of the device. It also minimizes the risk of damage as a result of a potential failure. In addition, Simultus allows you to test devices that cannot be installed in office conditions due to their size, price, or health and safety regulations.

Conduct operator training before the device is built and installed in the factory.
Operators can be pre-trained before the device is built and installed in the factory, which can eliminate costly errors. It is also an opportunity to verify the concept and ergonomics of the device operation.

Make a virtual prototype of your device and show the potential customer how it works.
By creating a virtual 3D model that can be run together with the control program, we do not waste time explaining how our device works, we only show it in action. This approach is much clearer for a potential client or a trainee. We let them interact with the machine, leaving no doubts about how it works and what it looks like. The machine can be operated on the computer screen and the customer's doubts can be clarified in detail, allowing them to test the control panel and to observe the effects.

Company’s virtual catalogue.
Show the client how your devices work before you build them.
It is also much easier to record an advertising or training film before the actual device is created.

What can you simulate?
Practically everything. Our software allows you to import any 3D shape. The flexible and intuitive way of programming using function blocks enables the determination of any logical and mathematical dependencies of the device model. The use of a PLC controller means that our virtual machine can be 'brought to life' using the most popular control tool used in the industry. So you can build virtual:
- production lines,
- packaging machines,
- individual machines and production stations,
- mobile devices (tractors, excavators, mobile robots, etc.),
- agricultural equipment,
- mining equipment,
- hand tools,
- robots and manipulators of any kinematics,
- flying machines.

How to create a digital twin?
We invite you to familiarize yourself the Simultus training course (link).

Ladies and gentlemen,
In the first stage, we will provide Simultus in two versions: DEMO and EDU Plus. Projects created in these versions can be opened in the Industry version as well. You can now use the DEMO and EDU Plus versions, paying attention to the terms of the license. We will inform you about the date of making the industrial version available (Factory and Factory Plus) on this page and on Facebook.
