Workstation description
A workstation with a container is a device very often used in industry. A very simple industrial automation system. With its help, you can get acquainted with the basics of writing programs for a PLC controller, including the control of the actuator coils, reaction to signals from limit switches, as well as timers and counters.

The described device model is a ready-made example that can be used directly for educational purposes. The model does not need to be modified, but it can also be freely adapted to your needs. It is adapted to be connected to a PLC simulator or to work with a real PLC controller.

Mathematical model:

PLC inputs:
X0 - START button
X1 – actuator end position - piston rod extended
X2 - actuator end position - piston rod retracted
X3 - sensor (detection of an object in the lower part of the container - ready to be ejected)

PLC outputs:
Y0 – extension of piston rod
Y1 – retraction of piston rod
