Short description:

The function block provides communication and control of the connected model of the finished roller conveyor in 3D visualization.

Inputs

pos - position of the conveyor rollers (their angle of rotation) in radians

Settings:

Conveyor number: The conveyor number is assigned on the 3D visualization screen.

Function operation:

n order to use a ready-made conveyor:

1. insert the conveyor in the 3D visualization:



2. Insert the RollerConveyor block into the function block diagram.

3. Connect the conveyor from the visualization with the RollerConveyor function block by selecting the conveyor number.



4. Connect the conveyor to the selected coordinate system.
5. Configure the conveyor according to your requirements in the properties menu:




The conveyor can be connected to any AXIS type coordinate system in the same way as STL solids are connected. This way, the conveyor as a whole can be moved.
The movement of the conveyor rollers can be triggered by changing the value of the position at the input of the RollerConveyor function block, e.g. by connecting a SLIDER to it as in the example below.
The roller conveyor moves the solids using the simulation of friction between its rollers and the solid in motion:
